Just the other day we had a lovely couple in our shop from Goondiwindi. They drove up to buy one of our Stages trainer bikes. We had discussed prior for them to bring their iPad so we could help configure all of the functions on the bike. We worked for about 2 hours with them to ensure we knew the bike fittings for each of them so that they could easily change the setup and that their Zwift and Strava were all linked up to gather all relevant data.
The beauty about the Stages Smart Bike SB20 is also that it can seamlessly reflect your physical road bike. We helped them set up the gearing to be identical to the husbands Specialized Roubaix which was running a Shimano 34/50 by 11-32 cassette. But it could just as easily be digitally configured to any SRAM, Campagnolo or Shimano 11 or 12 speed setup.
The team helped to lift the heavy bike on the back of their ute and we’re looking forward to hear about their Zwift experience on their new trainer.
Also this week we had a customer from Thargomindah who was keen to get a Sirrus X 4.0 in a size that we didn’t have built up on the floor. We ensured we built up the bike immediately. When the customer returned a few hours later to collect the bike our trained staff ensured to help and fit the bike to the customer.
Also, because he lived so far away and wouldn’t be able to easily bring the bike back for the first free service after 4-6 weeks of riding, our mechanic explained to him what minor tweaks the customer could do himself to keep the bike in optimal condition.
