Bike Servicing Giant Lutwyche


At Giant Lutwyche, we offer a range of bike servicing options for whichever bike you ride! Mountain, road, commuter, e-bike and kids' bikes. Let us know if there are any specific problems you are experiencing so our mechanics can fix your ride and get you rolling smoothly again. 

You can book your service directly in the widget above. Do remember to bring your bike in the day before or first thing in the morning to ensure we can service your bike in your desired timeframe.

Below is an overview of the available services that you can book and what they include:

Bronze Service - $ 119*

Recommended as needed

Silver Service - $ 189*

Recommended every 6 months
  • Lubricate drive train
  • Gear and brake adjustment
  • Check wheel true / spoke tension (on bike)
  • Adjust headset, bottom bracket and hubs
  • Check torque on all bolts 
  • Remove and clean drive train
  • Lubricate drive train
  • Gear and brake adjustment
  • Check wheel true / spoke tension (on bike)
  • Adjust headset, bottom bracket and hubs
  • Check torque on all bolts

Whilst carrying out a Bronze, Silver or Gold Service our mechanic may notice other items which need attention. 
Typically these include the items below and incur an additional charge.
  • Brake bleed
  • Installation of gear / brake inner cables
  • New bar tape
  • New tyres/tubes

Gold Service - $ 249

Road Bike / Hard Tail Mountain Bike

Full Suspension Mountain Bike
  • Remove and clean drive train
  • Lubricate drive train
  • Gear and brake adjustment
  • Check wheel true / spoke tension (on bike)
  • Remove, re-grease and reinstall bottom bracket and headset
  • Adjust headset, bottom bracket and hubs
  • Check torque on all bolts 
  • Remove and clean drive train
  • Lubricate drive train
  • Gear and brake adjustment
  • Check wheel true / spoke tension (on bike)
  • Remove, re-grease and reinstall bottom bracket and headset
  • Adjust headset, bottom bracket and hubs
  • Check torque on all bolts 
  • Brake Bleed
  • Check front and rear shocks for correct function
 

Other Services

Repair quote

$ 50 - full analysis of the bicycle and repair quote by one of our mechanics. If the full quote is approved, the $50 charge is waived. 

Tyre and Tube Change

$ 15 for each tyre and the cost of the tube (regular tubes are $10, thorn resistant tubes vary in price.)

$ 40 for each tyre and the cost of the tube for bolt on e-bike wheels  

Replace Brake Pads

$ 20 for changing brakes in each wheel and the cost of the brake pads (prices vary depending on type of brake pads)

Tubeless Tyre Sealant Top Up  (recommended every 3-4 months)


$ 40 per tyre (includes sealant)

Convert to Tubeless Tyre

$ 45 per tyre (includes sealant) - tape and valves charged seperately

Hydraulic Brake Bleed (recommended every 12 months)

$ 45 for each brake (Dot or Mineral oil)

Suspension Service (recommended every 12 months)

E-bikes:

We don't service scooters. We don't service illegal e-bikes.

We service all major brands of e-bike motor systems such as Yamaha (Giant),  Bosch, Shimano and Specialized. For e-bikes running other motor systems not purchased through us we won't be able to get the parts and we can only service the bicycle components (brakes gears, wheels, etc) but not the motor system.

Please help us by

Removing all accessories e.g. lights, bags, bottles and child seats.

Washing your bike before bringing it in. If necessary, a $20 cleaning charge may be added to your service.
