Guided Bike Rides around Toowoomba
Bikeline is proud to offer guided bike rides around Toowoomba.
Guided rides need to be booked and paid at least 2 days in advance so we can coordinate bike availability as well as a guide to show you around.
Below are some packages that we offer. We can also cater for a fully customised package at your request.
Package 1: Toowoomba escarpments and parks
- After a welcome coffee at Cafe de Velo where you will meet your guide and get the rental bikes fitted, the Toowoomba escarpments ride takes you along the most scenic roads and paths we have in Toowoomba. There will be a few stops along the route to take photos.
- Most of the riding will be on roads (tarmac) some on cycle paths. We avoid the busy roads to ensure a pleasant cycle.
- Distance: 25 KM
- This ride requires a minimum of 2 riders to be booked in your group.

Package 2: Toowoomba murals
- After a welcome coffee at Cafe de Velo where you will meet your guide and get the rental bikes fitted, the Toowoomba murals ride takes you along footpaths and roads to find the most stunning murals we have in Toowoomba. There will be many stops along the route to take photos.
- Most of the riding will be in the Toowoomba CBD with frequent crossing of roads and walking along alleys and footpaths.
- Distance: 10 KM
- This ride requires a minimum of 2 riders to be booked in your group.

Package 3: Highfields Historical Pioneer village
- After a welcome coffee at Cafe de Velo where you will meet your guide and get the rental bikes fitted, the Highfields historical village ride takes you along back roads to Highfields. In Highfields you can visit the Historical village for 1 hr (ticket to be purchased separately). On our way back we swing past Gowrie Junction and return to Toowoomba along Hermitage Road.
- All of the riding will be on roads (tarmac).
- Distance: 35 KM
- This ride requires a minimum of 2 riders to be booked in your group.

Package 4: Just ride - Road bike only
- After a welcome coffee at Cafe de Velo where you will meet your guide and get the rental bike fitted, the Just ride ride package takes you out of Toowoomba and can be adjusted to your specific needs. Expect some great views and many kilometres in the countryside.
- All of the riding will be on roads (tarmac). We try to avoid busy sections, but will come across some major through roads.
- Expect a lot of climbing usually about 500 to 1000 meters
- Distance: Medium up to 60 KM or Long up to 100 KM
- This ride requires a minimum of 1 riders to be booked in your group.

Make your Bike Tour into a lovely culinary experience with a carefully selected Picnic basket by our team at Cafe de Velo. The basket will contain a light meal as well as some nice cold drinks.
Depending on rental bike availability we may upgrade you to a higher quality bike at no additional cost. For each rental bike used we will take a deposit on your credit card to cover for possible damages or loss of the bike.
